I can't believe I have been doing Project Life for nine weeks! In some ways i feel like i just started but as i look back over the past few pages i am reminded of little stories that i have already forgotten. since school started life seems like a blur-- i am so thankful i started this project because in a small way it freezes time for us. I love it.

So here is my spread from Week 9, which fell on October 17-23. This week was full with field trips, school stuff, allergy testing (me), fall break, a family trip to the State Museum, and having family over.
I incorporated a bunch of Elle's Studio's vintage flash cards, and as always, i love how her journaling cards (Lil' Snippets) fit perfectly in the journal spots.

One thing I included this week was a little bit about a contest that went on at Todd's work. That's one area i want to continue building in our album-- his work day. Maybe I will send him to work one day with the camera?? :)
Some "Found" objects I included this week was a paper from my allergy testing, and a construction paper leaf Jonah made at school. I love having a place for some of the kids art work- have i mentioned that before? :)
I also wanted to include a quick note that Donna Jannuzzi is writing a great blog series this week on "Scrapbook Your Year" at Write.Click.Scrapbook, and yesterday she focused on Project Life. I had to opportunity to answer a few questions and a share a few PL spreads. It's a great read-- thanks Donna for having me!
Thanks for stopping by today!

I really love how your project is coming along. I think you've sent me over the edge with the idea of 'freezing' those moments on the page. I know that happens so often and its fun to look back. I'm experiencing that now as I work on finishing up my WITL (yes, super slowly)
Jenni I just love that you post these and that you started mid year. I'm planning on starting for my DD. ( I also love that you spell your name with an "i", cuz that's how my sister spells it :)
I love the idea of Project Life but, working full-time outside the home, I fear I will not be able to sustain it every week, let alone all year! I am, however, trying to think of a similar system that would be manageable for me.
