what did we do before online shopping? ... seriously!
i love the story
todd and
nikki tell of their mother who would frequently buy items from
catalogues in the middle of the night. She would call herself the "Midnight Visa Queen". (this must be how our mom's shopped before the
internet) HA!
i have been seriously shopping off of
ebay these days for my little
jordan (i have looked for
jonah but it seems that boy clothing are not in good condition like girl clothing.
hmmm...does that surprise you?:). so...... call me
becky bloomwood. I have been purchasing clothing on
ebay that are in Excellent Used Condition (
EUC!!), and New Without Tags (
NWOT!!), and have found many items that are apparently Very Hard to Find (
VHTF!!) from mini
boden,
gymboree, and
matilda jane. (yes i googled all these crazy acronyms at one point after about 10 minutes of trying to figure out what the heck
NWOT could mean other than a horrible misspelling of
NKOTB)
so i purchased 3
mini- boden 3/4 sleeve shirts for
jordan for $9.00 total... (the apple one is my fave!)

and even recently got this sweet long sleeve
Mini Boden shirt for
$1.30...

SCORE! You have to REALLY be watching because these shirts can go for
alot of money on
ebay... even used! But it's fun to be on the hunt!
Oh and then there is
Matilda Jane.

Seriously, this is my FAVORITE clothing line for little girls. So funky and hip. (but not really everyday clothes.. but OH so cute). I scored a knot Dress (worn once), and also a top (new without tags). Both majorly discounted from their retail price of $50+ . I got both at a fraction of the retail price!
So what about me??? I am currently eyeing this skirt from
Boden:

and this sweater from
Anthropologie:

Both which are most
definitely NOT on sale. Sigh.....
So here is my question: do any of you purchase clothes for yourself or your kids on
ebay- or am i just crazy here? I am slightly getting way too excited about all of this? there is just something fun about watching the bidding go down to the last second and winning! HA (
ok, i am not REALLY that crazy about it- but it's just a
teensy weensy fun to beat the other bidder in the last 10 seconds!).
And, secondly, who out there sells clothes on
ebay? I think there could be
alot of money made with all the baby clothes we have that are nice and are still in excellent condition (or never worn)- but is it worth all the
hassle to post on
ebay????
