I have much to say regarding our trip to Cleveland for Wade and Julie's fabulous wedding... but (like i said earlier) laundry and errands are calling my name today (oh and the kids too...) so i will leave you with this video. I love discovering new things about my children...each day brings new words, actions and sometimes attitudes. Well on 9.20.08 I discovered that my son can tear it up on the dance floor. It was a very proud moment for us as parents. with this being the second wedding ever attended by our kids, (and the first wedding that went late into the evening) i had no expectations on how they would act (and i must say thank you to aunt "ki" for watching them during the ceremony... that's a video of it's own... :) anyway, jonah outlasted all of us during the reception and just rocked it on the dance floor while jordan slept in her car seat under the table. he even lifted up his sippy cup of chocolate milk to "cheers" the toast that daddy gave for uncle wade and aunt julie. oh, what a night!

His Name was Written in the Sky

First day home from vacation... so much to do: Sam's Club, laundry, unpacking, uploading pictures.... this being one of them. Last Thursday we went to the Magic Kingdom and saw this written in the sky. Wow. The "Sky Writer" wrote out Jesus Loves U but i could only fit Jesus in the picture. I thought this would be a perfect picture post to start the week.

We are back!

sweet siblings

J & J love spending time together. i am so proud of jonah for being a wonderful big brother to jordan. he has dealt with some adjustment issues this week. it's been a little rough for him now that jordan is not a sleeping baby in a swing all the time. she is by his side, has a personality, and sticking around for awhile. she started baby food a few weeks ago... and this week jonah refused to eat unless i spoon fed him. : ( he actually went a whole day with nothing! we have also really cut back on the "paa" (pacifer) and started mothers day out this week. so we are dealing with some attitude, but i know he will adjust just fine. it's alot to take in for a little guy that's only got 2.5 years under his belt!

One fun thing we started a few weeks ago, is that jordan and i will go wake jonah up from his nap in the afternoons. jonah is a marathon napper, so when it's time to get up jor and i sneak in his room and he wakes up and with squinted eyes and a soft voice he says, "hi jor!" and she squeals with delight. love it. it's so much fun to watch siblings!
