Happy Saturday!  Today I am sharing the week of March 16-22 in my Project Life album.


We had a crazy spring!   We had a lot of fun family activities and I got a bit behind in my album.  Sometimes you have to be okay with living life and focusing on your album at a later time.  So right now, I am going back a bit and filling in the gaps.



I used the Elle's Studio March and April exclusive Kits, along with pieces from the Cienna Collection

I used the Morning/Afternoon/Evening card found in the April 2015 Kit to highlight our Monday activities (and specific activities of this particular day).  I love the idea of sharing the “daily routine” of any specific day (because each day of the week’s routine might  be totally different), and this is the perfect journaling card to highlight those thoughts.

We had a very busy weekend with many family events so I decided to dedicate half of the spread to documenting our weekend events.   We had bridal showers and bachelor parties and the Cienna Collection was perfect for documenting it all!

Our home at spring.

Spring is in full bloom here in the midwest.



April 13th marked the three year anniversary to us purchasing this home in the heart of Indianapolis (you can read more about our journey here).  These past three years has given us incredible memories and experiences.



I remember three years ago walking up to this home as new owners.  The yard was exploding in color. I totally remember looking at it in awe and taking in the beautiful fragrance.  That's how it is here in the midwest.  We have the most harsh winters, but Spring... OH, how it gives us such joy and celebration for new life and experiences.



It was the perfect time to enter into a new home.  It was a season for a new canvas.  New growth.



And GROWTH is what we have done (and continue to do) in this "new" home.


That's my dad.  I love the fact my he was here before the house was ever built.  This home was built in the early 1960's while my school aged dad lived right across the street (he and my mom, and my extended family still lives across the street).  He watched the home of his future daughter, son in law, and grandchildren being built right over his shoulder (our property is on the left side of this photo).  I'm sure he got in trouble over here at times.  Who knows!   We still call it our "new" house.   And I LOVE that.

God makes all things new.  Homes, hearts, families, and seasons.
