Four months old today! Hard to believe...

For Aunt Courtney...

My dear friend Courtney keeps telling me she hasn't seen jordan in a long time ... so this is for you Court...

Jordan's three month pictures. Yes, she is almost 4 months now, so it's taken awhile for me to get these up here. She is the cutest little thing and she blesses my life (and todd's) tremendously. We have begun to see some of her personality develop... i love this stage! We have noticed that she adores Jonah. Even though he is only beginning to recognize her existence, she loves to watch him. One week ago, she started crying and i could not figure out what was wrong. I tried everything... until... i sat her up so she was facing jonah, and she stopped crying! It has happened quite a number of times since then and it just blesses my heart every time that she finds security in watching her brother. (even when he is just playing and not paying attention to her!) I hope their relationship continues to develop into a strong friendship. He has just begun to interact with her and it's so much fun to watch.

Hello June

it's been quite awhile since i've posted... we are still here! But the TV is not. Yes, there is still a hole in our living where the TV used to be. It's actually going really well. Jonah has figured out to ask to watch Caillou/Pooh/Elmo in the master bedroom... but that's okay with me. He can't reach the dvd player and that was our battle. He would just do it himself. Now I can say yes or no, and he can't fight it (well he can whine but that's another story). We are in talks of how to re-introduce the living room "T". But so far so good! That first day was a rough one!

We had a great father's day weekend. We (mom and dad) went to Jack Johnson Concert Friday night. So fun. Man, I felt old at Deer Creek. I was not the oldest person there by any means, but there is just something about having two kids that makes you feel like you are way too old to be there. Saturday we woke up and went to the Strawberry Patch. It was todd's requested father's day present! I guess i didn't really think about the fact that pushing a stroller in a strawberry field wouldn't quite work, so i wore jordan in the bijorn... not the best for picking strawberries, but i got a few good pics:
Jonah was the cutest... he was calling them "straw-bears" and was so so excited. He was prepped a little bit because he has a Caillou video and they go strawberry picking on it... so he knew what he was doing! Crazy! We had lunch a chick-fil-a and went home for the afternoon. The Sunday we headed to Decatur, IL to visit Todd's grandma, aunt bev, cousin natalie, and her boys kevin and tom. It was a great day and we even manage a water fight. Jonah cried when it was over! He was loving the water balloons.

We hope you are having a great June!
